apps to make house sale easier

There’s little about buying a house that doesn’t make the eyes water. From the endless costs to the endless waiting for reports, to the endless negotiations. There’s a lot to get to before the tears of joy once the transaction is complete. But modern technology is slowly but surely lending a helping hand by aiding both the speed and the smoothness of the entire process. It can’t prevent a buyer from pulling out at the last minute, or stop you being gazumped on an agreed price, but while on the hunt for new houses for sale in your area, it can certainly help reduce unnecessary delays. Here are a few apps to download to help you through…

Five Apps That Make Buying A House Easier

DocuSign

This is a great app that allows you to send and receive your documents digitally. There’s no need to print anything out and you can sign on the screen and send documents off straight away, so no time is wasted.

CamScanner

This nifty app enables you to use your phone or tablet as a scanner. You can, therefore, scan documents into your phone and save them as JPEG or PDF files. You can then simply send them to others as an email attachment.

Asana

More than just an online calendar – this app helps you to make lists of all the jobs that need doing and prioritise what happens next. This will help keep you organised every step of the way, from ensuring you don’t miss viewings (if looking round numerous properties), to reminding you when important deadlines are coming up, to keeping track of all the decor you’ve bought for your new home.

Your phone camera

You won’t need to download this one – you already have an incredibly useful tool, and you should use it to take photos of the things you like and dislike about each property you visit. If you’re viewing several places, it’s easy to forget what you love and don’t love about each, so having your phone camera make visual reminders can be a magnificent aid to your decision making.

IKEA Place

This uses AR technology to enable you to see what the rooms in your new house could look like when they’re fully furnished. You can virtually furnish your room with the click of a button. Then, when you’ve got the look you’re going for, you can head off and buy the real thing.

One day we may have apps that enable us to look round a house in the morning and have the deal finalised by dinner time. Until then, we’ll still have to go through the long, often painful process we have at the moment. But at least technology has been able to take some of the sting out of it all, so we can spend more time looking forward to the big move.

Hope you enjoyed our look at five apps that make buying a house easier.
